The Beacon Business Innovation Hub is delighted to report exceptional academic and personal progress for our students this summer.
English and maths results are better than those achieved in 2019.
Leavers will be moving onto a host of different destinations including apprenticeship programmes, employment and many leaving to join local Sixth Forms and Colleges to continue with their studies.
Principal Trevor Button said:
“We are so proud of this group of students. They have overcome so many hurdles throughout their education – especially in the past two years. To see them all progress into further education, employment or training is an exceptional moment for them. All the staff are very proud to have played a part in that success.”
Clement Kenyi joined BBIH at the start of Year 11. His Year 10 attendance at his previous mainstream School was 7%. For the past year his attendance has been over 90% despite travelling from Muswell Hill every day. He achieved a 6 in English Language, and 5 and 4 in combined Science, a 4 in History a 4 in Maths and a 4 in Art and Design. Clemet will be studying Level 3 Business studies.
Clement said:
“BBIH has helped me so much, I would not have got these GCSE results anywhere else. The staff have been so supportive”
We wish all our leavers the best of luck with the next phase of their education and we are proud to have played a part in their re-engagement with education.
