We are delighted to announce another year of improved outcomes at the Beacon Business Innovation Hub. Our results at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 are well above national averages for other Alternative Providers and reinforce our principle of personalised learning and supporting learners to explore the curriculum from a variety of different starting points. At KS4 the percentage of students who achieved a good pass in English and maths combined has doubled from last year.

At Level 3, all but one course achieved a 100% A* to C pass rate students and staff on the ICT, Health and Social Care and Business courses were thrilled at the results of the students such as Gabriel Buttimer who achieved an A grade at Level 3 Health and Social Care. We also had our first student complete an A full A-Level course with Daniella D-Urso achieving a B grade in Italian – she also achieved a B grade in GCSE Portuguese at the same time!

Vocational results were excellent with a 98% pass rate. Year 11 results also highlighted the great progress students can make at the School with 79% of student meeting or exceeding their expected grades. One of the stars this year was Kornelia Rackauskaite who achieved 6’s in double Science, Maths, History and a 7 in English – as well as completing a Level 2 Health and Social care course with a Distinction!

The vast majority of our students make excellent progress during their time with us which is reflected in our best ever set of results.
