Students were taken on a trip to the newly opened Battersea Power Station, giving them a chance to experience the juxtaposition between old and new.
The power station had been essentially abandoned for decades; now it hosts a thriving shopping centre with electric cars, designer ice cream, a cinema, and sky lifts.
Students enjoyed the exhibition that taught them about the history of the station with concept designs and models. At one point the station was nearly turned into a rollercoaster!
With a walk around the local area we also saw the Thames and bustling city life.
