‘The London Academy of Sustainable Construction (LASC) offers a comprehensive portfolio of CISRS scaffolding training, construction and green energy related qualifications. Our excellent facility is ideally located in the heart of the London Borough of Waltham Forest and attracts learners from a wide geographical area due to excellent motorway network access and extensive regional public transport links’
We took our students on a trip to LASC, arranged through SIMIAN, a nationally recognised training and consultancy provider focusing on a wide range of specialist areas including scaffolding and general construction. Not all of our students wish to apply to college post 16 so an alternative would be an Apprenticeship. Becoming an apprentice is an excellent way to learn while earning a wage, offering many benefits to both apprentices and their employers. Apprentices are provided with specialist and nationally recognised industry skills and qualifications dependent on the sector they are interested in. Our students fully immersed themselves in the activities and thoroughly enjoyed both the physical challenges and VR experiences.
