The Beacon Business Innovation Hub (BBIH) is proud of the success and progress of their students following on from this summer’s examination results.
The results mean learners are able to continue with the next part of their progression, whether that is to remain in education or move onto employment or training.
Some students joined BBIH at different points during Year 11 through hard work and commitment achieved impressive results.
Top achiever, Liam Sinclair, gained a 5 in Maths and a 65 in Combined Science alongside Level 2 vocational qualifications in Business, Sport and IT.
Chante Cornwall-Richards joined us in January 2024, and achieved an impressive grade 5 in English GCSE as well as vocational qualifications in Business, Health and Social Care and Cookery.
Dominic Bass gained GCSEs in English, Maths and Science Level 2 vocational qualifications in Sport, IT and Business.
Head of School, Kevin Howarth said ‘We are very proud of our students today. Our alternative provision is about re-engaging young people. Students leaving us with 6 or 7 qualifications and consequently being able to take the next steps in terms of their success and is at the heart of what we do at BBIH.’
