The Beacon Business Innovation Hub is delighted for the individual success of its students following on from this summer’s examination results. The results mean learners are able to continue with the next part of their journey, whether that it to remain in education or move onto employment or training.

Many students in the Year 11 cohort have been faced with significant barriers to education through a range of factors. Some students joined the provision during Year 11 and still managed impressive results.

Raiyaan Reza had missed significant parts of his education, yet managed an impressive 6 GCSEs, including a 4 in English and a 5 in Maths.

Nevah Nagtalon- Bautista joined BBIH in September 2022. Nevah was able to overcome a range of personal difficulties and achieve an impressive set of grades including 4s in both Science
and Maths.

Head of School, Kevin Howarth said:
‘We are very proud of our students today. It is the individual stories that stand out. The determination they have shown to achieve and progress is a real example for us all.’
