Overview

The core aims of the curriculum at BBIH is to support students to become valuable members of society and to make progress with their education in a way that is specific to them.

The curriculum is designed to give students a broad and personalised approach to learning that will allow them to make good progress, both academically and personally.

Consistency is vital to the curriculum. Regardless of year group, subject or level students will all experience the same quality of education.

Class sizes are smaller and therefore students can expect that they will receive more frequent feedback from subject specialists. In addition to this, teachers will get to know their students very well and will be able to use this knowledge to help create a more personalised learning experience.

Regardless of prior educational experience, students who attend BBIH will be supported to make academic and personal progress that will set them up to be successful in their next steps in life whether that be further education, apprenticeships or employment.
