Year 9 and 10 students visited an Art exhibition at the Royal Festival Hall in Southbank. The students were taken aback by the raw power of some of the pieces, and the clear human story that they told; this prompted some good conversations about class, opportunity and mental health. Students were given the opportunity to write a short letter to an artist whose work touched them.

The students then explored the artistic quarter in Southbank, and the cultural gardens, statues and buildings along the Northbank and students were able to stop and sketch in their books.
